About F.W. Rider

If you follow me on Instagram then you may already know that FW Rider stands for The Fair Weather Rider. The Fair Weather Rider has been my instagram handle for as long as I can remember and first began as a rather general platform form. Fast forward a few years and it soon became apparent that it was rather equine focused. As I began looking to publish equestrian based romantic fiction, I figured there was no better presence than that of my equine instagram name, and so FW Rider was born.

I’m an author of contemporary equestrian focused romance, and love describing our favourite four legged creatures as much as I love a steamy scene. I’m a happily married mum of 2 fiercely independent young women as well as 5 equines, 4 canines and a complete twat cat. We live in Essex, just outside of London in the UK however we dream of spending more time in the USA as a family where I can spend my days drinking my favourite Californian Sauvignon Blanc, while enjoying the views I adore in Ocala, Florida and Venice Beach, LA. Throw in some Cadbury Dairy Milk and you pretty much have my perfect life summed up in one.

I love tension and angst; I love breathlessness and a desire so strong is make your thoughts indecipherable. In my romantic fiction, I focus on equine life in the UK as well as the US and like to dramatise the usual characters you’ll find around any DIY yard. Add in a muscular hunk and a happily ever after and you’ve got my favourite set up for the ultimate equestrian escapism when you can’t actually be with your majestic loved one.

But that’s not all I offer…

To put it simply, I love love. That’s it. And there’s nothing I love more than actual love stories. So if you have a love story that you’d like to have published into your very own book, please don’t hesitate to contact me and we can chat about me creating your own personal love story in the form of an actual novella or even full length novel. Give someone the greatest gift of all, your love story to remember forever more…
